Bolton's manager has put out an extremely attacking lineup for today's home match against West Ham.
It's a little unclear what the formation will be, but I will try and discern what I can.
Zat Knight partners Gary Cahill in his return from injury. Consequently, there is not even a place on the bench for David Wheater. Coyle has played our two most attack-minded fullbacks, Gretar Steinnson and Marcos Alonso.
Some on the message boards think it will be a 4-3-3, but that would require Lee and Petrov tuck inside and match up against Scott Parker and Mark Noble. I can't see that happening. In fact, I think Elmander will continue to show his versatility by taking over Stuart Holden's playmaker role in the center of the pitch. And you know what, I believe he will do a job for us.
This team seems to confirm that the manager has given up on the idea of Bolton keeping a clean sheet, and he is just going to try to outscore the opposition. I think we will succeed. Final prediction; Bolton 3, West Ham 2.
